Hi, I recently acquired this exact motherboard from a scrapper and all of the ICs were missing including GAL.
The other ones are not that hard to get a hold of, but I have a problem with the GAL image. Could you guys be of any help? I’ve heard that the GALs are write-only and can not be read.
Thanks!
Strange beast indeed, DIN5, no poka-yoke on the SCSI and that weird socket. It just found its home at the museum!
“Weird socket” being Socket 2? It may be unusual but it’s a lot more useful than a LIF socket 🙂

I fear that I don’t have any idea how to read out the missing GAL… maybe someone else?
The ability to read a GAL seems to depend on the type of GAL and if it’s protected or not.
Found a thread that seems a bit interesting. Unfortunately the links are broken, but still.
